Monthly Update
Listen, this will probably not be a good blog...
Not the best introduction, granted, but an honest one. Why? I'd say the two main ingredients to any decent blog: quality content and a consistent schedule. While I'll do my best to avoid writing crappy content, I'm not a blogger and have no practice in it. I am a writer, though, and perhaps that will be enough. Regarding the latter, disregard it. Any kind of schedule is simply out the window. Some might argue this will not be a blog at all, then, but instead a collection of sporadically topical clusters of paragraphs occasionally succeeding in mimicking real articles, and I don't know if I'd disagree.
All jokes aside, I do plan on writing useful and interesting content. In time, I mean to expand it into a resource page where my thoughts, experience and knowledge on writing, storytelling, fantasy and fiction can be of use to others. There is an overwhelming amount of content on these subjects floating around the web, and a lot of it is regurgitated advice that hinders more than it helps. These resources are meant to be a light through that abyss of misinformation. As such, I am to keep them concise, clear and relatively brief.
Check out "On Writing" for posts about writing as a craft, storytelling, characters, description, dialogue, world-building and more, or try "Fantastic Fantasy" to read examples of what some of the best stories in the fantasy genre do right.
I sincerely hope you find something useful or engaging.
